Exploration

Scholars enroll in Exploratory Courses in whuch they examine particular issues in theology as well as the relationship of theology to contemporary society and the public good. Exploratory courses consist of eight to ten scholars led by a faculty member. You will be in the same Exploratory Course throughout the program. On weekends, Exploratory groups visit local congregations and faith communities. These "pilgrimages" provide opportunities to experience how people of different faith traditions worship God.

"You have an open forum to engage in really serious issues and major questions. We all want to get to know 'the truth of the thing'. Not so much about who's right and wrong. It's about traveling together on the same path, to get to know better who God is, what God is doing, and where we're supposed to be in that puzzle."
