Programs Overview
YTI Summer Academy
The YTI Summer Academy is a 29-year-old ecumenical program in justice-seeking theological education. Our next Summer Academy will be held July 7-20, 2024. The goal of our Summer Academy is to empower young people by providing space where they can explore their most important questions about both faith and the world alongside youth who share their interests and adults with theological training. YTI Online
YTI Online meets weekly for one hour. Often we focus our conversations around a book we read together that we provide to you. Group members decide how we proceed and what we read. This is a time and space where you can get support from adults who relate to you as equals and where you can ask any and all questions you have about God, the Bible, the world, any questions you are carrying with you. YTI Custom Workshops
YTI can offer custom workshops of varying lengths at your church or school. We work with you to shape the workshop in response to the needs of your community. All of our workshops are shaped by YTI's mission to share critical theological tools with youth. |

Journeys of Faith and Reconciliation: Belfast, a Trip for Graduating Seniors
A travel seminar to Belfast that explores “the Troubles” in Northern Ireland and how the people of Belfast have worked for peace and reconciliation. This seminar is framed in terms of how we might apply the lessons of Belfast to the conflicts we are experiencing in the US today. June 1-9, 2024 Open to:
Cost: $2500 (additional need-based scholarships available) The true cost of this program is $5000 (includes roundtrip airfare between Atlanta and Dublin, all lodging, ground transportation in Ireland and Northern Ireland, meals, and entrance fees). We received a grant that allows us to offer this program at half the cost. We know that this price will still be too high for some families. For this reason, we are offering need-based scholarships. We will offer fundraising support for all participants regardless of need. |
