Programs Overview


Journeys of Faith and Reconciliation: Belfast
​A 9-day travel seminar to Belfast that explores “the Troubles” in Northern Ireland and how the people of Belfast have worked for peace and reconciliation. This seminar is framed in terms of how we might apply the lessons of Belfast to the conflicts we are experiencing in the US today.

June 2022
Open to:
  • high school students (including spring 2022 graduates) who will be at least 18-years-old by June 2022
  • YTI alumni from 2016-2021 who will be at least 18-years-old by June 2022

Cost: $4200 (includes roundtrip airfare between Atlanta and Dublin, all lodging, ground transportation in Ireland and Northern Ireland, meals, and entrance fees) Scholarships are available.

Taking Your Faith to College
A workshop that seeks to introduce youth to serious theological tools that can empower them as they make the transition to college and adulthood.

Offered to high school students of all ages. Find out how you can attend one of our workshops or host one at your church or school.

YTI Summer Academy
In 2021, we are offering a new online Summer Academy. We will have a 2-day online retreat June 21-22 and again July 22-23. In between, we will be offering a variety of ways to engage with your peers and with theology graduate students and faculty.

Open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders

Cost: $500

Praying With Our Feet
A four-day travel seminar to Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham that explores the theological tools of the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s and how those tools can help us in the Civil Rights movements of today
  • February 18-21, 2022 (Presidents' Day weekend)
  • Open to 9th-12th graders
  • Cost: $560 (includes all lodging, travel from Atlanta, meals and entrance fees)
